Clayton Englar

Bio

 

Clayton has been an occupational therapist with CSAAC (his first job after graduating from Towson University in 2001) for over 5 years, but has been a professional musician (primarily on saxophone and flute) since moving to Maryland from California in 1980. While living in San Francisco in the late 70's, he played with and co-led several bands, including the jazz/fusion quartet Thursday Group - eventually recording 2 albums with them in New York shortly after moving east. During the 80's and 90's, he also performed and recorded with a variety of local jazz, blues, Latin and Top 40/Wedding bands. He formed two popular jazz
